Pacific Coast Dry Hard Apple Cider with Pinot Grigio
Cider Brothers Pacific Coast Dry Hard Apple Cider with Pinot Grigio (6% alcohol by volume) is made with hard apple cider, California Pinot Grigio, natural spring water, malic acid, sugar, less than 1% natural flavors, sulfites and carbonation. Cider Brothers uses five fresh apple varieties from the Pacific Northwest: Golden Russet, Granny Smith, Gala, Fuji and Red Deliscious. It has a rich vinous aroma with some pino and apple and a clean fermentation character. It pours brilliant straw gold with good reflectance and no legs. Cider, spice and pinot lead the flavors. The cider finishes with an oaky astringent note that dries things out. The apple cider and the pinot grape oaky character match up very well. It has a crisp medium light body and medium carbonation. This is a nicely done cider that you can enjoy on its own or with food. I am enjoying mine with Wianno Oysters.
