Bryan Acton and Peter Duncan
This book was originally published in 1966 and revised somewhat in 1983. It is incredibly out of date. If you are serious about making mead, buy Steve Piatz’s or Ken Schramm’s books. This ws my first book on making mead during the early 1980. It is all we had 40 years ago. The results from using the book were quite variable. The book is fun due to its quaintness and as a historical document. It says nothing about nutrients, must aeration, and various other techniques to improve fermentation. If you want a quaint book laced with charm and potential ideas buy this book. If you want an up to date guide on how to make mead, look elsewhere.
