Venn Pils limited release

Venn Pils limited release I've known for a long time that Venn Brewing co-owner Kyle Sisco knows how to brew lager beer. Whenever I see he has a new release of a lager I grab one. Venn Pils limited release (5.6% alcohol by volume) is a German Pils and it does not disappoint. Popping the can releases a medium high spicy hop aroma with some floral notes, medium bready rich malt and a clean fermentation character with off aromas. It pours brilliant straw under a massive 3” white cap with good retention streams of bubbles rise rapidly from the glass's nucleation points to replenish the head. Venn Pils drinks clean, crisp and dry with spicy hop flavors in the lead softened by light bread crumb to cracker malt flavors. Medium high soft, well rounded bitterness enters mid palate and lingers pleasantly. The body is medium to medium light and the carbonation medium. Klye handles the spicy hop flavors, the rich malts and the hop bitterness well delivering a a well balanced Pils with real character that is a joy to drink. I rate this very welcome beer you can drink all all day 86.
