Growing Power Farmhouse Style Organic Pale Ale

Lakefront Brewery Growing Power Farmhouse Style Organic Pale AleLakefront Brewery Growing Power Farmhouse Style Organic Pale Ale (6.7% alcohol by volume) is USDA certified organic. I am drinking this 7-31-16 and it has a 11-18-16 best by date. It pours nearly clear copper amber with rapidly rising bubbles under a 1" light cream colored foam cap that dissipates to a thick clingy film. Head retention is moderate. The beer clears a little as it warms. Growing Power has a mild scent of light floral and citrus riding on light white bread crust. It has a very creamy palate and a mild tartness. It starts grainy, citric and clean but condludes with banana, fruit and over ripe fruit. It has a hoppy vegetal astringency on the finish and a moderate hop bitterness. Growing Power's medium body has a very soft medium high carbonation. This is a full flavored refreshing harvest ale for drinking while threshing wheat. I rate Lakefront Brewery Growing Power Farmhouse Style Organic Pale Ale 80.
