Green Flash Brewing Company

Green Flash Brewing Company GFBGreen Flash Brewing Company GFB (4.1% alcohol by volume) is a Blonde Ale and the bottle has a best by date a month from now. It smells like ditch weed, light toast, citrus, earthiness and orange. It is a bright gold pour filled with streams of bubbles rising moderately fast under a frothy white cap with fair retention. The flavors start lightly sweet with fruit, citrus, and orange. A moderate bitterness emerges mid-palate and the beer dries slightly with a trace of tea-like astringency and mild fruit tartness on the finish. The brewer achieves a nice balance between the fruit flavors, the hop bitterness and the malt. The body and carbonation are medium. This is a very flavorful, satisfying and drinkable Blonde Ale. I rate it 85.
