Boulevard Brewing Company
I am drinking Boulevard Brewing Company Single-Wide IPA (5.7% alcohol by volume, 57 International Bittering Units) 10 days before its best by date. Prying off the cap releases a fruit and citus bouquet with orange and bread crumb backed by hints of candy. Pours gold with a slight haze under a moderately persistent 3" cream colored foam cap supported by continuous streams of moderately fast rising bubbles. Single-Wide IPA leads with a creamy, light citrus attack with orange, light crackers. Malt flaors re low while hop and fruit flavos are high. Hop bitterness is medium. Single-Wide IPA finishes dry and crisp with a hint of tart and an increasing bitterness. The body is medium light and a fine soft carbonation gives the beer a very creamy textue. This is a very refreshing beer that features complex and layered hop flavors. I rate it 85.
