Ayinger Privatbrauerei Ayinger Weizenbock (7.1% alcohol by volume) smells like fresh banana bread seasoned with a pinch of clove. There is some spice and wheat in the background. A hazy amber pour produces a 3" cream colored cap with bood retention. Banana and baking spices lead the flavor with hints of fruit, cardamon, clove, banana bread, light cake, and bubble gum. Hops and alcohol flavors are low. The beer is lusciously creamywith a medium full body and medium carbonation. This full flavored classic show cases the hefeweizen yeast character. I am always tempted to drink this fo breakfast with sausages and eggs. I rate it 90.
