Uinta Brewing Company
My can of Uinta Brewing Company Lime Pilsner (5.3% alcohol by volume) has a best by date six weeks from now. Lime dominates the aroma and has a faint solventy gasoline note. Some citrus, a faint floral note and a hint of cracker round out the aromas. It pours bright gold with a slight haze permeated with streams of rapidly rising bubbles under a 1" white cap with fair retention. Lime is also the big player on the palate and it does have a slight solvent note. The beer character is near the back with hints of oyster cracker. The body is medium light and the carbonation is medium high. The lime flavor is a little too potent in this beer and the flavor is not quire right. The use of "natural flavors" instead of lime juice or lime pulp add an artificial aspect to the taste and aroma and a faint solvent note. Its a refreshing drink but not enough like a beer. I rate it 65.
